PSYCHO-EDUCATIONAL ASSESSMENTS

For individuals 16 years or older, psycho-educational assessments shed light on how students of all ages learn. Our reports provide concrete recommendations as part of an Independent Educational Plan [IEP] for students at the high school and university levels. Students may have diagnoses such as a Learning Disability, or have factors that interfere with the effective deployment of cognitive skills [e.g. Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder]. These assessments can help bolster academic success through the provision of extra time on exams and assignments, the implementation of technical aids to help with note taking and studying, and ensuring that teaching methods are in line with a student’s particular learning pattern. We also work directly with teachers and professors in the successful implementation of the resulting IEP.
